Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Jenny Lewis Premieres New Song “Wasted Youth”
American singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis will release her fourth studio album “On the Line” on March 22, 2019. It is her first album in five years.
She has shared a new song “Wasted Youth” from the album, following “Red Bull & Hennessy” and “Heads Will Roll”.
The album features all-star collection of musicians including Beck, Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner, Don War, Ryan Adams and Benmont Tench.
The Beatles member Ringo Starr played double-drums with Jim Keltner as cameo. “He was cool — he just showed up one day with a smoothie and did double-drums with Jim [Keltner] on two songs,” she said.
“Wasted Youth” is similar sound to “Red Bull & Hennessy”, with wild souls and a Stevie Nicks shimmy.
She will embark on On the Line Tour 2019 in support of the album with beginning at Amoeba Hollywood on March 22, 2019.
Also, she support Death Cab For Cutie's tour as a special guest in June.
