Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ CXLOE Premieres New Music Video for “I Can't Have Nice Things”
Australian singer-songwriter CXLOE has dropped a new music video for “I Can't Have Nice Things”.
The video was filmed in a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, directed by Jade Elhers, who also directed her previous music clip.
The song was released back in February, following 2018's single "Show You", which was co-written by Maroon 5's Sam Farrar.
Synth-pop anthem was written by Oskar Sikow and CXLOE.
She will embark on a headline tour in Australia, with beginning at Oxford Art Factory on May 16, 2019.- “When I was younger, I was never given precious or breakable items as I would always end up dropping or damaging them,” she says in the press release. “This has transferred into all elements of my adult life. Relationships, family, friends, career. I always seem to find a way to sabotage things in my life that usually mean the most to me. Through this, I quickly learned the very valuable lesson that I simply can’t have nice things.”
