American rapper 2 Chainz released his fifth studio album “Rap or Go to the League” on March 1, 2019.
The album features guest appearances from Marsha Ambrosius, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, E-40, Chance the Rapper, Kodak Black and Ariana Grande.
From the album he dropped a new music video for “Rule The World” featuring Ariana Grande, directed by Sebastian Sdaigui.
2 Chainz said, “The song feels really good. She sings like an angel. I feel like it’s gonna be a number one record.”
The song samples Amerie’s 2002 song “Why Don’t We Fall in Love.”
This marks the second time both of artist have collaborated. They recorded and released Ariana Grande's “7 rings” remix version back in February.- When the music video for “7 rings” was created, 2 Chainz and Ariana Grande discussed together for their new collaboration.
"They set it up so we could actually meet and talk face to face," 2 Chainz said of their meeting. "I think that kind of changed everything because I started getting what was going on, having a clear understanding of what was going on. She was more or less saying that, 'Well, yeah, I thought people knew I took it from you.' And I said, 'Well, how would people know that?'" - source : Rap-Up
