*repeat repeat Premieres New Music Video for “Hi, I'm Waiting”
- Nashville-based alt-pop/rock duo *repeat repeat, consisting of Kristyn and Jared Corder, has shared a new music video for “Hi, I'm Waiting” directed by Matthew Delisi.
The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard. The song is taken from their upcoming sophomore album “Glazed”, which is set to be released on May 31, 2019.
The duo recorded the album with the Black Keys' Patrick Carney.
“We had a formula that seemed to work for us,” Jared Corder said. “But this time we went in and I showed Patrick a verse and a chorus, or two sometimes, and he would sit down and we'd write together. He helped write half the record — some of the guitar parts, a ton of instrumentation. It was just a whole new experience for us.”
- Jared Corder talked about working with a director Matthew Delisi. "We've been friends since we were a baby band and we played some show where he did standup the same night in the venue," Jared Corder said. "He was in town and hit us up, 'Can I stop by?,' and it just became this very fun thing. We were surrounded by our friends and family the whole day of the video shoot and Patrick was on drums, and then Kyle shows up and gets in there, too. It was just another part of this really great year we've been having."
In support of the new album, the duo will be touring this year starting in Austin, TX at SXSW and including an album release show on June 2nd.
