American country music duo Maddie & Tae performs a new acoustic version of “Die From A Broken Heart”.
Last October, the duo released the song as the promotional single. It was written by Deric Ruttan, Taylor Dye, Maddie Marlow and Jonathan Singleton.
“We kind of pulled from the pain of the unknown and not feeling the most confident at that time to make it feel real,” a half of the duo Madison Marlow said of the song. “We wanted listeners to feel the pain of a mom having to hear that her kid is struggling and the pain of the girl getting her heart broken.”- The duo released their debut album "Start Here" in 2015. They have said that their next album is a concept album of a relationship.
“Die From A Broken Heart” will appear on their sophomore album.
The duo will support Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty Tour 360 with beginning at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro on May 1,2019.
