British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters has released a new song “Stay Young” with an accompanying music video.
Last November, she released a debut EP "Dressed Too Nice For a Jacket". The song is the follow-up to it.
The track was written by Sam Roman and Maisie Peters. Also, English singer-songwriter RØMANS played guitar and synthesizer on the song.
She said of the song, "I wrote [“Stay Young”] last summer about growing up and being lonely in Willsden green chasing my dreams and missing my friends and wanting to make them proud lol hope you guys love it like I do."- The video was filmed in Los Angels, directed by Erik Rojas. She wrote about the video on YouTube, “MY FIRST EVER MUSIC VIDEO IS HERE !!! Made in LA with so much love from me to you, full of old friends and new friends and the best cast and crew in the history of music videos. Thank you everyone who helped make it the dreamy fairytale secret garden 70s jungle house chic it became; special thank u to Erik for being the most amazing director and bringing this idea to life so beautifully, and also to Ricardo and Fara and every single other person who woke up at 5am to help me create this.
