British girl group Little Mix has shared a new music video for “Think About Us” featuring American rapper Ty Dolla $ign.
The song is include on their fifth studio album “LM5”, which was released last November.
The video was directed by Bradley and Pablo, who behind Dua Lipa's "Electricity", MNEK's "Tongue" and Cardi B's "Motorsport".
Both directors said, "We wanted to help continue their mission to show a version of themselves which felt more authentic or honest. It was inspiring and refreshing for us by turning our attention to how we capture this in our execution. It has the same POP qualities but with a more mature, stripped back sensibility."- They conyinued, "The initial concept was based around the idea of recreating emotions and sensations that you experience in a relationship that may be lost in a future where certain kinds of intimacy are no longer possible. This idea is reflected in the set which sees contained environments within an industrial space where these things are simulated."
Bradley and Pablo added, "We think good female role models are strong and confident women in control of their own sexuality and what they choose to wear, which is exactly how Little Mix portray themselves. They played a huge part throughout the video production - they are definitely in control of how they want to present themselves. The idea women should be oppressed in order to help men avoid accountability is outdated!" - source : MTV
