Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and actress Alyson Stoner has released a new music video for “Stripped Bare” directed by Shannon Beveridge.
“Stripped Bare” was released back in January, following "Fool".
She wrote about the song on Instagram. "Stripped Bare is not just a song for me. It's a line in the sand and a personal commitment to change my future direction, no matter how daunting and unclear," she wrote. "To allow old, familiar things to die and kill off the ego that keeps me fixated on the rear-view mirror, even when nothing beautiful is coming from it."
It was written by Alyson Stoner, Matt Parad, Dalton Grant and Castle.- In the clip, she hits the road with RV and cut off all her hair. “Shaving my head is an act of mental health and confidence, not self-destruction,” Alyson Stoner said. “I can’t tell you how many beliefs and opinions and insecurities fell to the floor with every tuft of hair, and I’m leaving them there. I’m shedding an era and rising as a new being in real time.”
