Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Jenny Lewis Premieres New Song “Heads Gonna Roll”
Last month, American singer-songwriter and former Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis released the new song "Red Bull & Hennessy" for the first time in five years. Also, she first performed the song at Live from Here in February.
And she announced her fourth studio album "On The Line" will be released on March 22, 2019.
From the album, she unveiled a new song “Heads Gonna Roll” as the second single off on February 13th, following "Red Bull & Hennessy".
The new song features Ringo Starr on drums, Don Was on bass and Benmont Tench on Hammond B3 organ.
The track reminds us of The Beatles and is the piano-driven tune with a steady, country swing unlike previous song.
Jenny Lewis will embark on a headline tour in North America and The UK in support of the album. The tour kicks off at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 21st.
