"That was a lot of fun to make because I just wanted to make some people happy and hand out ice cream to people in downtown Austin on a hot day," Rebecca Loebe said. "I just wanted to hang out and show some of my favorite spots in the city and remind people to relax and just breathe through whatever difficulties they're facing at the moment."
- The album "Give up Your Ghosts" comprises of 11-track and is set to be released on February 8, 2019 via Blue Corn Music, who recently signed to Rebecca Loebe.
She said of the album, "I feel like there's so much toxicity and negativity and just burnout. People are so exhausted from this sort of constant deluge of tension coming from the national news. So it's a response to what's going on right now and that I just need that reminder to slow down, take a deep breath, focus on the positive and relax and let the other stuff go."
The album is available to pre-order here.
