Alessia Cara Performs New Album Cut “Out of Love” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
- Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the first time after she released her latest album "The Pains of Growing".
She performed “Out of Love” from the album. Before the performance of the TV, she revealed the official live performance video for the song with Vevo.
The song was the first song she’s written from someone else’s perspective. One day Alessia Cara got a request from a friend.
She explained in an interview to Associated Press, "Write a song about my breakup. He was like, ‘Listen, I’m not a songwriter, I’m not good at writing. Could you maybe one day ... write a song about somebody falling out of love with you?’”
She wrote the song and played it for friend. “I played it for my friend and he got very emotional and he was like, ‘Thank you!’ And he actually got back together with the girl after that song. It’s a magic song.”
Her sophomore album "The Pains of Growing" was released on November 30th, consisting of 15-track.
- Sorry, she removed the video of performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. We posted another live video instead of The Tonight Show.
