The 1975 Premieres New Music Video for “It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)”
- On November 30th, British rock band The 1975 released their third studio album "A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships".
From the album, the band premiered a new music video for “It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)”.
The video is a sequel to "Sincerity is Scary" created by Warren Fu of the same director.
Also, the clip is a hallucinatory tribute to the Talking Heads’ concert film "Stop Making Sense". Frontman Matty Healy wears the same suit as David Byrne.
The song was premiered on BBC Radio 1 back in October and depicts Matty Healy’s struggle with heroin addiction.
Matty Healy said of the song, “I don’t have things that I want to write about that aren’t exactly what I feel day by day. The problem I have now is that this is my truth, and I feel like I can’t negotiate properly with the world if I can’t tell the truth.”
The 1975 will embark on the World Tour in support of the album. The tour takes place in UK, and Ireland in January , North America in March, Europe in June, and Australia in September.
