Phoebe Ryan Releases New Song “Heart Attack” featuring Tove Lo
- Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Phoebe Ryan has teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo.
The pair released a new song “Heart Attack” back in September. It was written by Jakob Jerlström, Ludvig Söderberg, Tove Lo and Phoebe Ryan.
This marks the first time Phoebe Ryan and Tove Lo have worked together.
The song is included on Neon Gold Label 10th anniversary album "NGX: Ten Years of Neon Gold" featuring The Knocks, Young & Sick, Matt Maeson, VÉRITÉ, Japanese Wallpaper, Broods, Captain Cuts, Your Smith, St. Lucia, Grouplove, Icona Pop and Charli XCX.
"That's the best way to start a song in my opinion," Phoebe Ryan said. "Tove and Tommy English and Imad Royal couldn't have been a better team. Something magic was going on. We all felt it. I'll never forget how much fun it was to create this song."
- "The four of us originally had a session planned the day after but got excited and used the buzz as inspiration," she said. "You never know what it’s gonna sound like the day after when you’ve had a pretty blurry session, so we were happily surprised. I get so much music and inspiration from the Neon Gold camps and writing this song with Pheebs who I looove and all my homies was such a blast!!"
