Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Little Mix Premieres New Music Video for “Strip” featuring Sharaya J
On November 16th, British girl group Little Mix released their fifth studio album “LM5”.
On the same day, they dropped a new music video for “Strip” from the album, featuring American rapper Sharaya J.
The video features a whole tribe of incredible women, who are Nimco (founder of Daughters of Eve), Bryony Gordon (journalist), Hannah Witton (sex-positive blogger), Felicity Hayward (plus-size model), Confetti Crowd (London-based bloggers), Megan Jayne Crabbe (the body positivity blogger ), Maxim Magnus (London-based model), Dina Torkia (fashion blogger), Nia The Light (video blogger) and Kristin Hallenga (founder of the charity CoppaFeel!).
The group tweeted, "because this song is about empowering people to be who they are," band said, "We’ve love sharing these amazing women’s stories & we have a surprise. We invited them to be part of our #Strip music video cos this song is about empowering people to be who they are. Thanks @Rankinphoto for bringing our vision to life in partnership."
The track was first teased in an interview with Noisey, in which it was revealed to be “about body positivity and embracing parts of yourself that you can’t change.”
