Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Ellie Goulding & Diplo Premiere New Music Video for “Close To Me” featuring Swae Lee
Last month, British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding and American DJ Diplo premiered their collaboration song “Close To Me” on BBC Radio 1.
This marks the second time they have worked together since 2015's single “Powerful”.
It was written by Ellie Goulding, Savan Kotecha, Peter Svensson, Ilya, Swae Lee and Diplo.
On November 14th, she dropped a new music video for the song featuring American rapper Swae Lee.
The video was shot in the Hungarian city. But Diplo doesn't appear on the clip.
“This is a track that I wrote in LA about six month ago and the Diplo heard it,” she said of the song. “And then we tried to fond basically the perfect kind of companion with me for it, and then Swae Lee popped up, and as soon as I heard him to do his verse on it I was like, this is perfect.”- She will appear on Capital's Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 Arena in London along with James Arthur, Rak-Su, Jonas Blue, Olly Murs, Halsey, Anne-Marie, Rita Ora and Liam Payne on December 8th.
And she will perform at SSE Arena in London on December 20th.
