Dido Premieres New Song “Hurricanes”
- British singer-songwriter Dido is back. She announced her upcoming fifth studio album's title "Still on My Mind", along with its cover and released a new song “Hurricanes”.
The song is her first single in five years since "End of Night". It was written by Dido, Rick Nowels and Rollo Armstrong.
The album is set to be released on March 8, 2019. Produced by her brother Rollo Armstrong. Also she worked with Brian Eno and Ryan Louder for the album.
“It was simple, I only wanted to make another album if it was with him,” Dido said of the album. “It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home.”
“I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this,” she added.
Also, she announced European and North American tour dates. The tour kicks off at Forum Karlín in Praha on May 5, 2019 and will conclude at Showbox SoDo in Seattle on June 30th.
The tour is her first live in 15 years. Learn more about tour dates, click here.
