Lil Wayne Performs “Can’t Be Broken” with Halsey on Saturday Night Live
American rapper Lil Wayne appeared on Saturday Night Live, where he performed “Can’t Be Broken” and “Uproar”.
Both songs appear on his twelfth studio album "Tha Carter V", which was released on September 28th.
Last month, he performed "Dedicate” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. This time is his second time appearance on TV of the 2018. Also, Lil Wayne was the musical guest on SNL for the first time in eight years.
American singer-songwriter Halsey joined in “Can’t Be Broken”. She doesn't appear on the original version of the song on the Album.
Both artists performed live the song for the first time on TV. It was written by Dwayne Carter, Ben Diehl, Gamal Lewis and Thomas Troelsen.
At the end of the track, Lil Wayne delivered a tribute to the heroic efforts of America’s military saying, “To all the veterans, thank you.”
“Uproar” featured American DJ Swizz Beatz. The song was released on October 5th and written by Dwayne Carter, Kasseem Dean, Avery Chambliss, Edward Holland, Lamont Herbert Dozier and Brian Holland.
Before Saturday Night Live, Lil Wayne dropped a new version of “What About Me” featuring Post Malone, who did not appear on album version. While the original version of “What About Me” featured Sosamann.
In addition, he premiered “In This House” featuring Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne “Hasta La Vista” from bonus tracks from "Tha Carter V".-
