Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed her latest song “Party for One”.
This marks the first time she has performed the song on the TV.
The track is the first single off her forthcoming fourth LP, which is expected to be released in 2019.
It was written by Carly Rae Jepsen, Julia Karlsson, Anton Rundberg and Tavish Crowe.
“Party for One” was released last week with a video featuring numerous people hosting their own solo dance parties in hotel rooms.
She said of the song, “To me ‘Party For One’ is an anthem of what it is to celebrate time with yourself, which is a hard thing for people to really enjoy sometimes, and it’s something I’m learning to do more and more. This song represents a lot of what this album is about for me which is romantic love but self-love too.”- source : Billboard
