Melbourne-based brother-sister duo Angus & Julia Stone covered Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer's “Youngblood”.
The original song was released by 5 Seconds Of Summer from the same name of their third studio album back in April.
The music video was filmed in Tokyo, directed by Frank Borin.
The song reached No. 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Australia Singles chart.
It was written by watt, Luke Hemmings, Louis Bell, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Ali Tampo.
“I was listening to a Spotify playlist and as I played through the songs, ‘Youngblood’ stood out to me and I thought it would be a great song to cover,” Julia Stone said. “The melody was lovely… I listened through a few times and thought, we could do a version in our style, with Angus and me singing gently in unison. I put the idea to Angus, and then we booked a studio with the band and went in and arranged the song. It felt great to sing it together.”- source : Music Feeds
