Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Allie X Premieres New Album “Super Sunset”: Stream
Canadian singer-songwriter Alexandra Ashley Hughes, aka Allie X released her sophomore album “Super Sunset” on October 29, 2018.
The album comprises of 8-track including preceding singles "Focus", "Not So Bad in LA", "Science", "Little Things" and "Girl of the Year".
She moved to Los Angeles from Toronto a few years ago, this album draws her personal Los Angeles experience.
“Four years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and my life was forever altered. This record chronicles the ups and downs of living in the City Of Angels, the magic of falling in love and the utter madness one feels trying to make it,” she said.
The album features radio-friendly '80s pop sound.
Allie X will perform live on Comic Con at Big Adventure festival in Costa Mesa, Calif on November 3rd and 4th.

Also in 2018, she contributed the songs, "Seventeen", "The Good Side", "Plum", "What a Heavenly Way to Die" and "Animal" to Troye Sivan's second album "Bloom", which was released back in August. The album reached No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 10 on th UK Albums chart.- source : Idolator
