Janelle Monae Performs “Make Me Feel” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
- American singer and actress Janelle Monae appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she performed “Make Me Feel”.
Back in July, she performed "Americans" on the same TV program. Both songs are included on her third studio album "Dirty Computer", which was released in April 2018.
“Make Me Feel” was written by Janelle Monáe, Robin Fredriksson, Julia Michaels, Mattias Larsson and Justin Tranter.
She premiered the song on Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show and said of the song.
“I actually had this title on this concept before my first album The ArchAndroid, and it scared me because a lot of the things that I knew that I needed to say were very deep, very personal, from the heart. You know, this is an extremely vulnerable album and it took me a while to make it because I’m a self editor.”
Next up for Janelle Monae is a slot at this year's Voodoo Festival in New Orleans and a co-starring role alongside Steve Carell in Robert Zemeckis film "Welcome to Marwen".
