Nick Jonas & Robin Schulz Premiere New Music Video for “Right Now”
- American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas and German DJ Robin Schulz has dropped a new music video for “Right Now”.
The song was released back in August. It was written by Peter Hanna, Taylor Bird, Andrew McMahon, Lindsey Stirling, JUNKX, Steve Mac, Skylar Grey, Robin Schulz and Nick Jonas.
When the song was released, Nick Jonas said, “It’s a song with Robin Schulz, which I’m really excited about called ‘Right Now’ that I wrote with Skylar Grey. It’s a song that I’ve been sitting on for a while but I was looking for the right time to put it out and the right person to collaborate with.”
It was rumored that this song was written about Jonas's fiancée Priyanka Chopra.
But co-writer Skylar Grey explained who inspired the song in further detail on Instagram, “This song is about Elliot [her boyfriend]. Guys, Nick Jonas just put out a new song with Robin Schulz, and that's a song I worked on with him. And guess what? The was inspired by my love [Elliot], cause I was always on these trips, going away and working, and on that one I was in London working with Nick, and something Elliot always used to say to me was "I swear, the next time I have you in my arms I'm never letting you go." And that's what inspired the song.”
