Hooverphonic Premieres New Song “Uptight”
Belgian pop band Hooverphonic has released a new song “Uptight” from their upcoming tenth studio album “Looking For Stars”.
The song is the second single following the first single "Romantic". It was written by Luca Chiaravalli and Alex Callier.
The duo dropped a new music video for the song, directed by Frank van Rooijen, on the same day. The clip reminds us of Radiohead's music video"Lift" or Lights' 2014's video "Up We Go".
The track features only 17-year-old singer Luka Cruysberghs, who is the winner of the Voice Of Flanders 2018. She was replaced by Noémie Wolfs who left the band in 2015.
The song is the exciting symphonic sound, fused with electric guitar and bass.
The album “Looking For Stars” comprises of 11-track and is set to be released November 16th. It is their first LP since 2016's "In Wonderland".
Hooverphonic was formed in 1995. Originally, the band was composed of Alex Callier (bass), Raymond Geertz (guitar), Esther Lybeert (lead vocals) and Frank Duchêne (keyboards).
Currently, the band consists of trio, such as Alex Callier (bass), Raymond Geertz (guitar) and Luka Cruysberghs (lead vocals).- source : Facebook
