Dinah Jane Premieres Debut Song “Bottled Up” featuring Ty Dolla $ign & Marc E. Bassy
Former Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane has released her debut solo single “Bottled Up”. She has worked with American rapper Ty Dolla $ign and American singer-songwriter Marc E. Bassy on the song.
She reunites with Ty Dolla $ign, previously linked up on Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home”, which was released in 2016.
Back in 2017, she joined in RedOne's "Boom Boom" as a solo artist, along with Daddy Yankee and French Montana.
But this time, she signed to L.A. Reid's Hitco label and recorded the new song for her own debut.
She said of the collaboration, "They [Dinah’s management] have a list of dope artists and they asked me. ‘So, who do you want to collaborate with?’. And I instantly told them: ‘Marc E. Bassy’, he was my first go-to. I remember hearing his record of his, “Maybe That’s Love”, featuring Ty Dolla $ign. I was such a fan of this even before we did “Work From Home”. What a better time is it to throw both of them on a record."
She is currently working on her debut album with songwriters Priscilla Renae, Mozella and others, as well as producers Nic Nac, Neff-U and J.R. Rotem.- source : Idolator
