  • Pale Waves Covers Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa's “One Kiss” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

  • Manchester-based alt-pop band Pale Waves appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where the band covered Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa's “One Kiss” and performed “Eighteen”.

“One Kiss” was released by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and English singer Dua Lipa back in April. This is their first time collaboration. The song reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart. It was written by Calvin Harris, Jessie Reyez and Dua Lipa.
“Eighteen” is the third single from Pale Waves' debut album My Mind Makes Noises and was released in July 2018. It was written by Ciara Doran and Heather Baron-Gracie. The song reached No. 3 on the Japan Hot Overseas.
The band released the debut album on September 14th and launched headlining tour at hmv in Manchester on September 18th.
"The songs we have out now are very influenced by romance," lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie said of the debut LP. "The album is me talking about a lot of my darker issues. I talk about a lot of things that go on in my mind rather than in my heart".
Also they will record the next EP in Los Angeles in February 2019.
