Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Christine and the Queens Premieres New Music Video for “La Marcheuse”
French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, aka Christine and the Queens will release her sophomore album "Chris" on September 21st.
She premiered a new music video for “La Marcheuse” just 3 days before the album releasing. The video was filmed in Spain and was directed by Colin Solal Cardo, who was also responsible for her videos for "Girlfriend", "Doesn’t matter" and "5 Dollars".
The album comprises 23-track including the previously released singles "Girlfriend", "Doesn’t matter","5 Dollars" and “La Marcheuse”.
Last month, she explained about the album in an interview with NME.
“Maybe more high-tempo, but still really sad because I’m just me and I’m just sad deep down, but I’ll be properly able to dance on it all the time," she said. “I just want to be someone who desires. I think it’s interesting to think about the one female character who desires and is really lusting after them, like a male rockstar could be. I want to be that tiny desiring thing – sexual, but then I’m here again to define what it means to be sexual. I’m not there to do what’s been done.”- CneMUoqpebo
