Anjulie Premieres New Song “Hold Me Down”
- Canadian singer-songwriter Anjulie Persaud, aka Anjulie has shared a new song “Hold Me Down”. It was written by Anjulie Persaud.
The song is the second single of the 2018, following "Dancing with Girls", which was released back in February.
“At the beginning of most relationships people present their best, most progressive selfs and gradually you find out who they really are,” Anjulie told Exclaim! about the song in an interview. “This is me putting it all out there like, 'Hey I'm weird and insecure and scared and sometimes bad at life — do you still fuck with me? If so, then I got you too.'”
Anjulie is known as a songwriter for Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Icona Pop, Cher Lloyd, Fefe Dobson, Kreesha Turner, Zedd and Diplo.
Her self-titled debut studio album was released in August 2009.
