American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande released the fourth studio album "Sweetener" on August 17, 2018.
The album features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott.Produced by Max Martin and Savan Kotecha.
Three singles "No Tears Left to Cry", "God Is a Woman" and "The Light Is Coming" with Nicki Minaj preceded the album.
She started to record the album in earlier 2016 and finished in November 2016, but she continued create it until December 2017.
"I didn't mean to make an album, and I don't know if it's done at all, but I just have a bunch of songs that I really really like. I've been working a lot and have been creating and feeling inspired," she said.
She announced the album title called “Sweetener” in May 2018. She said the meaning behind the title on the Tonight Show, "It's kind of about like bringing light to a situation, or to someone's life, or somebody else who brings light to your life, or sweetening the situation."
Track #14 “Peter Davidson” was name after Ariana’s fiancé.

She will perform on "The Sweetener Sessions (American Express ® Card Member Onsale)" at Irving Plaza in New York on August 20th, The Vic Theatre in Cicago on August 22nd, and The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on August 25th.
