Jamaican singer OMI and German DJ Felix Jaehn teamed up for a new song “Masterpiece”. The song was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
This marks their first time wokr together, but Felix Jaehn remixed OMI's debut song "Cheerleader" in 2014.
For OMI, the song is his first single since 2015s debut album "Me 4 U". It was written by Felix Jaehn & OMI.
The sound is '80s pop beginning with rhythmic guitar riffs.
OMI is currently working on his second album, recorded it in London back in June.
But no further details on the project are available at this time.
OMI told Billboard about the first time collaboration with Felix Jaehn;
"Ah, man! It was awesome. It is so weird that we are meeting for the first time. The chemistry is there. I do not know if it is because of the previous project that we worked on. It is a perfect vibe. I really appreciate the decision to let us work on this one in-person. I think it was a good move.
There were just really good vibes. There was no ego. We were bouncing ideas off of each other. Making this [record] everybody was giving their best to make it all that it could be. That is just an awesome feeling."- source : Billboard
