Festive People Premieres New Song “Pumice” on SoundCloud
Utah-based alternative pop band Festive People has delivered a new song “Pumice” via SoundCloud.
The song will appear on their upcoming debut album "In The Black", which is set to be released on August 3, 2018.
The track is based on rhythmic bass, keyboard and guitar riff. In addition, smooth chorus and strings arrangement created the original stylish sound.
According to the band, "The band's music is a blend of your mom's groovy 70s tunes and your dad's favorite Pink Floyd tracks."
But their sound reminds us of LA-based Foster the People, NY-based Joywave and British pop band Tears for Fears.
The debut album "In The Black" comprises of 10-track and was preceded by four singles "Behave", "Boxcar", "Hostage" and "Spin My Eyes".
The album is available to pre-order here.
Festive People consists of John Lane (Vocals & Rhythm Guitar), Skylar Hansen (Lead Guitar), Dillon Boss (Bass), Brennan Tolman (Drums) and Cameron Faerber (Synth).- "In The Black" Track List:
