Brooklyn-based rapper Kai Ca$h teamed up with New York-based rapper King Combs and Los Angeles-based rapper 03 Greedo.
They unveiled a new song “The West (Free Greedo)”, which was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
Kai Ca$h said of the song, "This record right here is special because we added our East coast flavor to the West coast vibe. We went and recruited 03 Greedo because we felt he was a rising star on the Westside and when we got together, we got the chance to get in the lab and make history."- 03 Greedo was arrested in Texas on drug trafficking and possession of a firearm charges in 2016 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. But he could release in 5 years based on good behavior. The song is written about that.
Kai Ca$h and King Combs have been friends and working together for a long time. Kai Ca$h said about their collaboration this time, "King Combs that's my brother, we've been at it with these records since like 2013. Just to see our progress as we get older is surreal.
