American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande unveiled a new song “God Is a woman” with an accompanying music video.
The song is the second single off of her forthcoming album "Sweetener" which is set to be released on August 17th.
The music video for the tune, directed by Dave Meyers, features intertwines sexuality and spirituality themes.
The track was written by Rickard Göransson, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Max Martin and Ariana Grande.
God is a woman or a man? She was aware of this potential controversy.
When a fan asked her whether she was worried about negative backlash, she answered.

She was recently featured on Nicki Minaj’s new song “Bed” and Troye Sivan’s new song “Dance to This.”
Earlier this year, she surprised Coachella attendees by popping up during Kygo’s set to perform “No Tears” and a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing.”
The new album "Sweetener" is her first LP since 2016's "Dangerous Woman".
