Christine And The Queens Performs “What Lovers Do” (Maroon 5 cover) on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, aka Christine And The Queens appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where she performed “Girlfriend” and “What Lovers Do”.
“Girlfriend” is the first single off of her sophomore album "Chris", which is set to be released on September 21, 2018.
The song features American funk musician Dâm-Funk. There are two version of French and English. This time, she played English version without Dâm-Funk.
“What Lovers Do” was released by American pop rock band Maroon 5 last August, featuring American R&B singer SZA.
The song is the lead single from the band's sixth studio album "Red Pill Blues". The track reached No. 9 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Recently, Christine And The Queens released a new song "Doesn't Matter" from the new album. And she will embark on a European Tour and a North American tour in support of the album in November.
