American country music duo Sugarland premiered a new music video for “Babe”. The trailer for the video aired during the 2018 CMT Music Awards.
The video features actor Brandon Routh and Taylor Swift.
The song was released on April 20, 2018, as the second single from the duo's sixth studio album "Bigger" the released on June 8th.
It was originally written by Taylor Swift and Patrick Monahan of Train for Swift's fourth studio album 2012's "Red".
Taylor Swift is a Sugarland fan, she gave the song to the duo. She wrote on Instagram, "gets its own life. Sugarland wanted to record it and has done such a great job with it"
The duo performed the song for the first time on Live with Kelly and Ryan on May 8, 2018, followed by, they performed it on The Today Show live on June 6, 2018.- l25AL0BdD6w
