Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Shawn Mendes Performs “Perfectly Wrong” & “Lost In Japan” on The Late Late Show with James Corden
Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he performed “Perfectly Wrong” and “Lost In Japan”.
Both songs are included on his self-titled third studio album, which was released on May 25th and reached number one on the US Billboard 200 and number tree on the UK Albums Chart.
He played “Perfectly Wrong” for the first time on TV. It was written by Shawn Mendes, Geoff Warburton, Scott Harris and Teddy Geiger.
“Lost In Japan” was released in March as the second single from the album.
The song was inspired by a dream, he told Billboard in an interview, "I had this dream that I was lost in this country and I woke up the next day and we had this cool piano part and the song was birthed."
Shawn Mendes will hit the road in 2019 on a global arena tour in support of the album. The tour takes place in Europe and North America from March 7 through to August 24, 2019.
