Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Smashing Pumpkins Premieres New Song “Solara”
American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins dropped a new song “Solara” for the first time in four years.
Also, it's Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin's first new tune together in 18 years.
Back in February, the band announced that founding members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin were back in the band.
The group offered original bassist D'arcy Wretzky to reunite, but this time, he was not involved.
The band will perform the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 11th.
The reunited Smashing Pumpkins plans to release two EPs this year and embarks North American Shiny and Oh So Bright tour at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on July 12th. It's a focus on performing material from their first five studio albums.
