Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Meghan Trainor Premieres New Music Video for “Let You Be Right”
American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor just dropped a new music video for “Let You Be Right”, directed by Colin Tilley and choreographed by Charm La’ Donna.
The song was released on May 10th along with "Can't Dance". It was written by Jacob Kasher, Andrew Wells and Meghan Trainor.
Meghan Trainor said of the video;
"I'm obsessed with lights—a lot of lights. So I told [the video directors and producers], 'I want lasers, and I want it to look cool.' I wanted cool effects. I wanted it to look like we spent a lot of money, you know? I wanted to dance and show my body, and I did it. I looked bomb."- Last year, Meghan Trainor engaged with American actor Daryl Sabara. Her recent music is inspired from her fiancé.
She said, "I wanted to talk about my relationship with Daryl [in the song] and a cute thing we do. What I taught him early on was, you know, I'm always right. I really am. Daryl learned that early on, so any little fight we have he knows it ends with me being right. I wanted to put that in a song."
The track will appear on her upcoming third album including previously songs "No Excuses" and "Can't Dance", a release date hasn't been announced yet. - source : Glamour
