Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Maggie Rogers Premieres New Music Video for “Fallingwater”
American singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers premiered a new music video for “Fallingwater”.
She began the song as a demo in her Brooklyn apartment in November 2016. And she finished writing and producing the track in several sessions with former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij. The song was eventually released as a single on May 23, 2018.
The video was shot at California’s Imperial Sand Dunes, directed by her frequent collaborator Zia Anger. The video reminds us of Sigrid's "Strangers".
She tweeted of the video;
“I’ve seen this video in dreams for the last two years. Thank you to my beautiful friend + collaborator @AngerZia for helping me bring this vision to life and to Emma Portner for giving me tools to let my body say the things I couldn’t.”- She will support for HAIM's tour in the US, the UK and Europe. The tour kicks off at Academy Glasgow, UK on June 10, 2018.
