Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda Premieres New Song “Running From My Shadow” featuring Grandson on Apple Beats 1
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda appeared on Apple Beats 1 with Zane Lowe, where he premiered a new song “Running From My Shadow”.
The song features Canadian singer-songwriter Grandson with an accompanying music video, directed by Gus Black.
The track will appear on his upcoming debut solo album "Post Traumatic", which is full-length of the same title EP the released in January 2018. It was written by Kevin Hissink, Ross Golan, Jordan Benjamin, Brad Delson and Mike Shinoda.
The album features guest appearances from Blackbear, K. Flay, Chino Moreno, Machine Gun Kelly and Grandson, and is set to be released on June 15th.
He embarks Post Traumatic Tour in support of the album at Amoeba Hollywood in Los Angeles on June 14th. The tour takes place in North America, Japan and the UK through to August 2018, including Festival Rock en Seine 2018.

Mike Shinoda said of the song;
"It started in a really dark place. In the beginning, I wasn't leaving my house. It felt very claustrophobic, having lost one of my closest friends and collaborators. We associate who we are, to some degree, with what we do, so I felt very lost.
The experience of this last year has been crazy, and I wanted to put it into music, not only to just put a stamp on it and say, 'This happened,' but also to allow the fans and the people who have been along for the ride, to guide them on that journey in terms of keeping up with my narrative or understanding where I'm at."
He also spoke about Chester Bennington's suicide last summer, saying: "I had terrible days, and now I have less bad days. And eventually, I will find a new 'normal,' like a new stasis."- source : Rolling Stone
