Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lydia Premieres New Music Video for “Sunlight”
American indie rock band Lydia has released a new music video for “Sunlight”, directed by Adam Villasenor. The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
The song is included on their upcoming the seventh studio album "Liquor", which is set to be released on July 13, 2018.
The album comprises of 10-track and produced by the band and Eric Palmquist. It is their first LP in three years.
LA-based singer Lauren Ruth Ward joined in the album, in which she performed "Red Lights".
The band embarks Liquor Tour in support of the album on July 25th through to August 25, 2018. Learn more about tour dates, click here.- Frontman Leighton Antelman told Billboard about the video;
"It's kind of like a long short story. We've never done anything like that before, but I think Adam did a really good job with it. Kind of came about as an accident. We were just flipping through different tracks that we had been messing around with over the course of two years and that one was kind of the most put together from the start. We didn’t' really do much to it. It's just a light-hearted track that kind of came together -- although the video puts kind of a dark spin on it. I just like to let people take whatever they want to take from the songs, y'know?" - source : Billboard
