Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Sigrid Premieres New Music Video for “High Five”
Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, aka Sigrid has dropped a new music video for “High Five” directed by Ivana Bobic, who created her another video for "Strangers" and "Raw".
The song was released from her second EP "Raw" on April 12, 2018. It was written by Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie and Sigrid.
She performed the song with 360-degrees in the VOXI UK Unframed Studios on April 15.
Also, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonm last month, where she performed her smash hit "Strangers".
She told i-D about the song in an interview;
“‘High Five’ is about the importance of being completely open and honest with each other. We used high fives as an image of superficial relations. I love the tune, and there was such a good team behind it! Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie, Odd Martin Skålnes and I”- z6A2LHGx8_A

Filmmaker Ivana Bobic said of the video;
“Sigrid and I talked a lot about the power of friendship. We love all the high school movies, and Spielberg films like E.T or Close Encounters that are in a magical world but also really they’re a metaphor for friendship.- source : NME
