Michael Rosenberg said of the video;
“Hell Or High Water was the first song I wrote for this new record so it’s fitting that it’s the first single. It’s a song about trying to get your head around the complexities of relationships and why ultimately a lot of them don’t work out. The video was shot over a few days in various national parks- Monument Valley, Valley of Fire, Death Valley, and Joshua Tree. These epic and vast landscapes really help to portray a feeling of being lost in a hopeless quest for answers.”
- Originally, Michael Rosenberg debuted as the main vocalist and songwriter of British band Passenger in 2003. The band broke up in 2009, he continued to use the name "Passenger" as solo artist.
He is better known for his most successful single, "Let Her Go", has topped the charts in many countries. In 2014, the song was nominated for the Brit Award for British Single of the Year, and he received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work.
