Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sophia Black teamed up with American rapper LunchMoney Lewis for a new song “Blessed”.
The song follows up “Real Shit” and taken from her forthcoming EP "Hi Sweetie", which is scheduled for release in this summer. "Hi Sweetie" is her first EP in three years since her self-titled debut EP.
Before the new song the release, she joined in KYLE.'s single "Ikuyo" as guest vocals along with 2 Chainz.
Sophia Black said of the song;
“I wrote ‘Blessed’ during a time when I was in a very negative headspace. It felt like all I could think of was bad stuff, so when I got into the studio with Naz, I started writing down every positive that was opposite of what I was thinking… and voila! Blessed!
I’m a firm believer in affirmation… I hope that people who don’t feel like they have what they want can sing along to this song and convince themselves those things are attainable… like Takis… I want Takis.”- source : Ones To Watch
