Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Clean Bandit Premieres New Song “Solo” featuring Demi Lovato
British electronic music band Clean Bandit (Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson, Luke Patterson) teamed up with American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato for a new song “Solo”.
It was written by Jack Patterson, Grace Chatto, Fred Gibson, Camille Purcell and Demi Lovato.
For Demi Lovato, the song is following Christina Aguilera's new song "Fall In Line", in which she performed as guest vocals.
Meanwhile, Clean Bandit previously collaborated with singer-songwriter Julia Michaels and released "I Miss You" last October.
Grace Chatto stated that "Solo" was based on her own experience with a "difficult break-up".
The song was recorded over FaceTime because the band was unable to get into the studio with Lovato.
"It was crazy. She was in Alabama in a studio and we were over here. You know when the connection is bad and the speed fluctuates? We couldn't hear that well, but it turned out really well," Grace Chatto said.
Demi Lovato will perform on the Billboard Music Awards on May 20 with Christina Aguilera.- source : Idolator
