Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lykke Li Premieres New Music Video for “Utopia”
Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li dropped a new music video for “Utopia”. The video was filmed by Clara Cullen in honor of Mother's Day.
The video features home movies of Lykke Li with her mother, and Li with her son. She wrote of the song on YouTube, "MOTHER TO MOTHER TO MOTHER. Utopia is all my mother ever wanted for me and all I ever want for him."
The song will appear on her upcoming fourth studio album "So Sad So Sexy", which is due out on June 8th. It was written by Lykke Li, Ilsey Juber, Jonny Coffer and Malay.
From the album, she released the first two singles “Deep End” and “Hard Rain” in April.
The album is her first LP in four years since "I Never Learn".
She is set to play various European and North American festivals including the Osheaga Festival and Sziget Festival in support of the album in August.
