American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has released two new songs “Let You Be Right” and “Can’t Dance” from her forthcoming third studio album, which will be arriving in stores later in 2018.
"I was going to release just one song today, but I'm too excited so I'm giving you two! LET'S DANCE," she said in a release.
Both songs are the follow-up to "No Excuses", which was released in March 2018.
“Let You Be Right” is the disco-tinged mid-tempo and '70s sound like reminding rhythm section of Earth, Wind & Fire. It was written by Andrew Wells and Meghan Trainor.
“Can’t Dance” is more uptempo than "Let You Be Right", but it blends her previously sound and '70s dance music. It was written by Jacob Kasher, Meghan Trainor and Andrew Wells.-
She will appear on Channel 933 Summer Kickoff 2018 along with The Chainsmokers, Iggy Azalea, Troye Sivan and others on May 11th. Afterwards, she will perform at WBLI Summer Jam 2018 on June 15th, B96 Summer Bash on June 23rd and The 101.5 Hot Summer Jam on Jun 29th.
