Rita Ora Premieres New Song “Girls” featuring Cardi B, Bebe Rexha & Charli XCX
- British singer-songwriter Rita Ora teamed up with American rapper Cardi B, American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha and British singer-songwriter Charli XCX. They created a new song “Girls”, which was released on May 11, 2018.
Last May, Rita Ora performed the song live at the BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend with fellow British artists, RAYE and Charli XCX.
Rita Ora confirmed Bebe Rexha and Cardi B as collaborators on the track last November.
In the past, she collaborated with Charli XCX on "Doing It", which appeared on Charli XCX's the second studio album "Sucker".
Rita Ora said of the song;
"It was fantastic [working with the other girls]. I look at, you know, waking up and see what’s been out, like when I was putting my record out and there’s just some amazing new artists that have come out since I put out ORA, that I’ve been obsessed with. And Charli’s obviously like my number one, love her with all my heart, so obviously I had to have her on my album. I just gatheres all the girls that I thought were just like, cool vibes, it’s always about the vibe and the energy and the connection.
And “Girls” is one of my exciting songs which I can’t wait for people to hear. It’s like the record I made to, it’s my twisted way of showing love for the girls in this industry."
