American singer-songwriter Selena Gomez has released a new song “Back To You”. The song received its first play during Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio.
The track is included on The 13 Reasons Why Season 2 soundtrack, which features guest appearances from OneRepublic, Years & Years, Billie Eilish and HAERTS, among others. The soundtrack is set to be released on May 18, 2018.
The song follows up "Wolves" with Marshmello, which was released last October.
Selena Gomez said of the song;
"'It Ain’t Me,’ ‘Wolves,’ and ‘Back to You’ all have this acoustic guitar or effect of live music with a hint of what those DJs do best, so I find that I’m attracted to those kind of records because you could strip it down […] so that is something I’m very attracted to and that’s why I knew that “Back to You” would be a perfect stepping stone, because I had a hard time picking what was gonna be next."-
