Anne-Marie Premieres New Music Video for “2002”
London-based singer-songwriter Anne-Marie dropped a new music video for “2002”. The video is a throwback to the era the song’s title evokes.
The video features references to classic clips like Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time,” *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye,” Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” and Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me”.
She was only 11 in the year 2002, but she is the now-27-year-old and paying a personal homage to iconic pop videos of decades past.
The song was written by Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels, Anne-Marie, Steve Mac and Benny Blanco, also featuring backing vocals from Sheeran and Mac. It was recorded at London’s Rokstone Studios.
The track is included her debut album "Speak Your Mind", which was released on April 27th.
Anne-Marie is currently on tour with Ed Sheeran in the UK and Europe through to August. The two will play four nights at Wembley Stadium in June.-
