Sawyer Garrity & Andrea Peña Premiere New Music Video for “Shine” featuring Stoneman Douglas Drama
On February 14, 2018, a mass shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSD) in Parkland, Florida. Seventeen people were killed and seventeen more were wounded.
After incident, many student survivors criticized the response from politicians and asked them not to offer condolences but to take action to prevent more children from being killed in shootings.

All proceeds benefiting the SHINE MSD Fund at the Broward Education Foundation, a non-profit organization assisting victims and their families through local mental health and arts programs.
On May 4th, the music video for "Shine", directed by MSD alum Brittani Kagan, was unveiled online. In addition to Sawyer Garrity and Andrea Peña, other students and faculty of MSD appeared on the video.
